Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine (SASSMM) is a non-profit organization. Since 1983, we've served the counties of Eastern Cumberland, Sagadahoc, and Lincoln. Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine is an agency of professionals and trained volunteers dedicated to providing advocacy and support to survivors, families and concerned others affected by sexual assault, sexual abuse and sexual harassment. SASSMM offers services to improve awareness and response by providing prevention, education and risk reduction programs throughout Eastern Cumberland, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties.
Most of SASSMM's services are offered free of charge. The exceptions to this include specialized training sessions, such as those done for the Bowdoin College Safe Space Program. If you'd like SASSMM to provide a workshop, training or presentation for your school, organization or gathering, or you'd like to become involved in such offerings, please contact us. SASSMM welcomes opportunities to work together with you.
