Thank you to our event Sponsors!
Greetings Golfers,
We never could have imagined being where we are today. This unprecedented public health and economic crisis has affected the activities we participate in, the people we love, and the world we thought we knew. While we are all impacted by this crisis, I hope there is some comfort knowing that you are not alone; we remain in this together. In the midst of these challenging times, we want to thank you for being part of the Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine (SASSMM) community.
While it was a difficult decision for us to make, we have decided to cancel our 2020 Women’s Open Golf Tournament previously scheduled for June 25. We care about and continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers, supporters, and community —including you!
Although we won’t be gathering together in person this year, we wanted to offer you the opportunity to help lessen the impact of coronavirus on our mission to help empower, support, advocate, and inspire hope for survivors of sexual violence in Maine’s Midcoast.
Sheltered in place, we know many survivors are living with the very people that hurt them. As reports of sexual and domestic abuse swell, we are blown away by the incredible generosity of this community and the number of people asking “How can I help?” It’s because of the strength, passion, and commitment of individuals like you that survivors who reach out to us will receive the support they need, at the moment they need it most.
For those who are able to make a contribution during this time, we are inviting you to donate the cost of your registration (or any other amount!) to SASSMM in honor of survivors.

While we are all experiencing this pandemic in different ways, we truly believe that generosity and support is what brings us together. Thank you again for being a part of this community, and we hope to see you next year out on the green!
