K-2 I'm the Boss of My Body
Helping students to talk about their bodies in a neutral/positive way, and how to come up with boundaries for their bodies to feel comfortable, safe, and healthy. 

Main concepts covered:
  • Personal bubbles.
  • When adults might need to be in a child's bubble to keep it safe and healthy.
  • When a person might need help with their bubble.
  • What to do when you have any feelings about being touched.
  • The boundaries grown-ups have for children to keep their bodies safe and healthy.

6-8 Healthy Sexuality
​The importance of providing accurate information around sexuality and encourage critical thinking to counter shame and stigma with nuanced, affirming, inclusive views around sexuality.

6-8 Understanding Gender
Defining and discussing how gender norms and stereotypes can be harmful and lead to boundary-crossing.

​Main concepts covered: 
  • Defining biological sex, gender identity, gender expression, gender binary, gender stereotypes, and gender norms.
  • Examining historical examples of gender norms.
  • Talking about gender policing as a form of boundary crossing and sexual harassment.
  • Exploring the limits we face when trying to fit into either a "man-box" or a "woman-box".
  • Importance of self-expression and self-identity.

Office Drop-ins

​Please call the State-wide Sexual Assault Helpline to set up a time with an advocate to meet with you in person at one of our offices. Our advocates are not available to the public in SASSMM/CAC office spaces 24/7. We require an advanced notice to ensure that an advocate can be available and present to meet with you to help address your needs.
