K-8 Education Curriculum

What's in the toolkit?

The toolkit holds all of our prevention lessons for K-8 schools. They are organized by topic: bodies, boundaries, communication & consent, feelings, digital safety, relationships, and sexual violence. Each lesson has a recommended grade-range. There is also a section that includes additional resources and information for teachers and school administrators. In it we cover responding to disclosures, safety planning with students, responding to caregiver concerns, among others. All files are in a PDF form for viewing and printing accessibility.
Who can access the toolkit?

The toolkit was created primarily for guidance counselors and health teachers. If there are other teachers, caregivers, or community members who wish to view any of the lessons, please reach out to [email protected]. The teachers who do have access to the toolkit can download and share specific lessons with people in their network. SASSMM is always willing to work with any interested individuals who want to be more supported in their prevention work.
How do I access the toolkit?

The toolkit is password protected. If you would like access to the toolkit please email [email protected].
