We've partnered with RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) to offer online groups!
HelpRoom is a free, private space for people impacted by sexual violence to connect with one another virtually. Our trained advocates help facilitate these anonymous discussions to make sure the HelpRoom is a safe and supportive place for everyone.
Check out our HelpRoom schedule below to see what groups we're offering now. No sign up necessary! To join a session, simply visit the SASSMM HelpRoom and click to enter the chat.** You can participate in as many or as few sessions and groups as you want to. Please note that all the times listed below are Eastern Standard Time (EST).
**Can’t log on to the chat? HelpRoom limits the number of participants that can join a session, so it might be full. We still want to help! We hope you'll check back in during the next session (or for a different group topic). Need support immediately? Call, text, or chat with an advocate through the statewide Helpline now.
We have two reoccurring online support groups available for anyone impacted by sexual violence. This includes survivors, friends and family of survivors, or anyone concerned about sexual violence. These groups begin on Tuesday, 10/27/20. All the times listed below are Eastern Standard Time (EST).
