"Your Voices” is a compilation of stories, poems, songs, victim’s statements, and art written by individuals affected by sexual violence. This publication focuses on honoring the voices of survivors of and people affected by sexual violence.  We periodically review the publication and publish an updated version.

We are always looking for new additions to the publication. Submissions can be authored as anonymous, with a first name or alias, or other descriptors (e.g. ‘From a 30 year old trans woman’) —it’s up to you!

In addition to our periodic "Your Voices" publication, we also share writing by those impacted by sexual violence on our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). Please note that your submission may be edited to remove identifying details or shortened to fit in a post.

You are also welcome to mail submissions to our Administrative Office at "SASSMM, P.O. Box 990, Brunswick, ME 04011" or submit your story using our contact form. If you have questions, please fill out our contact form and we will get back to you.
Your Voices, 2017
The "Your Voices" 2017 publication was funded by Morse High School in Bath, Maine.  Thank you to Jobs for Maine’s Graduates program (JMG) for participating in an exciting philanthropic initiative called J.O.Y. (Jumpstart Our Youth) sponsored by the Unity Foundation, UniTel, Inc., and the Maine Community Foundation for selecting our agency to be a grant recipient.
